Working with Ted Perez and Associates, we embarked on some exciting projects back in the days when the Arri D20 first hit the market—the predecessor to the Arri Alexa. Back then, mobile hard drives were the size of small suitcases. I filmed our first digital commercial with the D20, and it was a great success. However, the D20 was quite challenging to work with outside the studio and required a dedicated DIT on set to ensure everything ran smoothly.
